Love Poems at Yu-Hu will bring a wide selection of romantic poetry for readers of every age, as well as critical essays on what
makes a good poem.
Poetry is very personal. Everyone will agree that Shakespeare, Dryden and Donne were great poets, but not everyone
will enjoy reading their poems or find that they speak to them. There are some poems that everyone will agree are
excellent, others that that everyone will agree are doggerel fit for the doggerels, but in between there is a vast area
where we can agree to disagree and we can all learn from each others' tastes. We intend to have something for everyone,
from the romantic young girl to the graduate in English Literature.
