INSECT LOVE
My eyes
crawl over
the flesh of my love
quivering with delight
The brush
of our legs
makes locus rhythms
in the night of candles
drawing us to their flame
We blaze
against the waxen stake
melted into semen ash
Then rise
phoenix moths
seeking for the light.
